Independent Electoral Commission briefed the country on the outcomes of its voter registration weekend. According to the commission, the two registration weekends have given the country a growth of 1,2 million on the voters’ roll. What is even more interesting is the fact that 77 percent are young persons under the age of 29 who will be entering the voters’ roll for the first time.
